HEY i'm blogging!!! look at me, i'm fucking blogging. on an actual blogging platform and everything. man i haven't done this in ages! what do you even blog about i can't remember. right now it's about noon and i'm just sitting around in my pajamas listening to the libertines and being slightly shocked that i'm still awake when i got up at six in the morning. you could almost call it reasonable. maybe i should actually have something like breakfast sooner or later? yeah that sounds like a thing to do.

hmmm oh!! katawa shoujo was released today wasn't it!!! finally. thought it'd never happen tbh but look who was wrong. this dude, that's who. like super wrong. maybe i should have humble pie for breakfast that's how wrong i was. ANYWAY haven't gotten to play yet because i'll have to wait for the ddl and currently all that's up is the torrent, but hopefully it won't be long! still not sure what path i'm gonna go for (i pretty much ship all the girls with each other in some way as opposed to with hisao? oops) but whatever.

+ ladystuck works were revealed yesterday -- i couldn't get anything done for my actual assignment and defaulted on it a while ago, sadly, but i did manage to get two bonus things done as part of the treats collection!! sdfghjk it's all under anon for now but if you know my style of writing & taste in ships at all then you'll probably be able to wager v good guesses as to which ones are mine... maybe shouldn't say if you do though?shhh u_u

+ have an appointment to finally get a bank account opened sometime this week apparently? which is good, v good, means we can start putting away money for riley's trip soon nwn so far we have, um, £300 exactly, i think! most all from christmas, from various relatives. i think that's a pretty good start, right... i'm really uncharacteristically optimistic about this ngl!!! GONNA SEE ONE OF MY PARTNERS THIS YEAR IF IT KILLS ME OK. and might ask on tumblr for people to chip in a bit, if i can get over feeling so weird and gross about it, i guess. w/e w/e

yuri it hard, yaoi it real good!! also i think in the demo there actually was a yaoi-ish ending of sorts with kenji but it involved falling off a roof to your death. granted i am not 100% sure this happened but i am at least more than 50 and that first half is what counts

OMG i didn't know that!! when i played the demo i couldn't seem to get any further after the festival and emi was scolding me for not eating healthy stuff. but this time around that never happened, and i found myself having a meal with lily and hanako instead. and... i don't know how it works but i think i ended up on a hanako route? i wanted to go for rin first. :( idk what i should have done to spend more time with rin. but, i love hanako too so it's okay.

YEH... and well it was the bad end so lmao!! like you got it at the festival (i typoed this as fetishal at first christ) if you hadn't made enough right choices to get onto ANY of the girl's routes proper.

basically i played the demo once and had no idea what the hell i was doing and made a ton of apparently wrong choices (ie the whole "nearly having a heart attack and getting yelled at by sexy doctor" thing i mentioned earlier.....) and none of the girls liked me enough to touch butts with me come time for the festival so

hisao just ended up spending it sitting on the school roof with kenji who talks about how much girls suck and they share a couple of long-suffering sighs and wistful looks and you start thinking they're gonna touch butts but then suddenly hisao loses his balance and falls off the roof and you die. there is absolutely no foreshadowing of this whatsoever and it is kind of hilariously stupid and also very annoying because it puts an abrupt and definite end to any sort of butt-touching that could've occurred ever again

LMAO (A)LEX WHY DID YOU MAKE SUCH NEGATIVE CHOICES... then again i don't know what i'm doing either and i keep trying for the most polite and safe ones (i won't do anything to damage hisao's health! i wouldn't dare!) except for shizune. i'm still snubbing here a little bit. i don't think i like her very much.

I DIDN'T DO IT ON PURPOSE i tried to go for the options that made everyone happy but then you get times like with lily and hanako arguing with misha and shizune and you try to go for the polite middling option but that just gets them both mad at you i think? so yeah

and overall because of how thin you spread yourself trying to go for the safest options with everyone you just end up on sort of vague ok-ish terms with all the girls instead of anyone having any actual inclination towards you BASICALLY I JUST WNAT EVERYONE TO BE HAPPY OK except hisao because like we have already covered if you dont get with any girls he LITERALLY DIES god how dumb even is that (i'll tell you: it's super dumb)

ikr every good dating sim has at least one obligatory token gay option right??? WHY BUILD IT UP LIKE THEY'RE GONNA GET SOMEWHERE AND THEN JUST COME OUT OF NOWHERE WITH "OH OOPS LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE ACTUALLY ON A DEAD-END BAD ROUTE THERE, SPORT" BY MEANS OF LITERALLY THROWING ONE OF THEM OFF A ROOF. i'm glad i learned
because tv tropes told me that if you don't focus on one girl more than the other, you go to the festival with kenji, so i was like "i wanna do that" and that's where my game is going right now

gotta save hisao from getting thrown off a roof i guess :( why can't everyone just be buds
